Treibersupport hinzufügen. 
Neuen Kernel mit der notwendigen Konfiguration kompilieren oder als Modul laden:
    michael@zaphod:~> kldload ath

Module können auch gleich automatisch vom Bootloader mitgeladen werden:
    michael@zaphod:~> cat /boot/loader.conf
    ath_load="YES"

War man erfolgreich erscheint im dmesg(1) ein Eintrag wie dieser:
