Der östliche Teil (NGC 6992) des riesigen Cirrus-Nebels im Sternbild Schwan. Das leuchtende Gas ist Sauerstoff (blau, O-III) und Wasserstoff (violett, H-α und H-β) und stammt aus der Schockwelle eines alten Supernova-Überrests. Das gezeigte Himmelsareal ist ca. 3x3º groß.
